Our story

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Our Story – G&M Site Runners

G&M Site Runners was built out of a simple need: contractors and homeowners in Northern Michigan often lose valuable time running for tools, materials, or cleaning up sites instead of focusing on the work that matters.

Founded by Gene Midyett III, a lifelong Northern Michigan resident, G&M Site Runners began with a trailer, a vision, and a determination to fill this gap. With years of hands-on experience in painting, construction, and property services, Gene saw firsthand how much time and money is lost when jobsites are disorganized or when crews have to leave to pick up supplies.

What started as a one-trailer service has grown into a professional, insured business committed to supporting local contractors, property managers, and homeowners. We believe that a reliable helping hand can make the difference between a delayed project and one that’s delivered on time.

At G&M Site Runners, family values drive everything we do. As a father of four, Gene built this company with the same principles he teaches his kids: show up, work hard, and keep your word. Every delivery, cleanup, or haul-away is handled with care because we know that behind every jobsite is a family, a business, or a dream being built.

Our mission is simple:

๐Ÿ‘‰ To be Northern Michigan’s most reliable partner for hauling, delivery, and cleanup — so you can focus on building, creating, and moving forward.

We are a dedicated team committed to crafting exceptional experiences. Our focus lies in providing reliable and innovative solutions, driven by a deep respect for quality and a genuine desire to exceed expectations.

Our history

๐Ÿ“œ Our History – G&M Site Runners

The roots of G&M Site Runners go back years before the business officially launched. Founder Gene Midyett III spent decades working in the trades, from painting homes and commercial spaces to helping friends and family on construction projects. Along the way, he saw a consistent problem: too much valuable time was wasted on supply runs, tool drop-offs, and debris cleanup — all the “in-between” jobs that slow down progress.

After closing his former painting business and regrouping, Gene stayed focused on building something lasting for his family and his community. With a trailer, a truck, and a vision, he started offering hauling and cleanup services for local contractors and real estate agents. What began as small runs and one-off cleanouts quickly grew into a recognized service across Petoskey, Charlevoix, Boyne City, East Jordan, Cheboygan, Alanson, Indian River, and Gaylord.

In 2025, G&M Site Runners officially became a licensed and insured business, expanding its services to include:

  • Material Delivery – keeping jobsites stocked with what they need.
  • Tool Transportation – making sure no crew sits idle.
  • Jobsite Cleanup – removing debris, waste, and scraps so projects finish strong.

Today, G&M Site Runners is more than just a hauling service — it’s a trusted local partner built on hard work, reliability, and a commitment to keeping Northern Michigan’s jobsites running smoothly.
